After performing an exhaustive review of the best research available on the subject of cancer prevention, Dr. Wascher has largely avoided "doctor talk" in discussing those prevention methods which have been established to be worthwhile, those which have been largely invalidated, and those which may still offer promise, but have not yet been proven.The first two chapters include a general discussion of cance. A very helpful book. I found this book to be very informative. The author analyzes the up to date anti cancer studies and clearly explains the research in terms a layman can understand.His writing is well documented with footnotes.I highly recommend this book even if you think you are up on all of the new research. He gives a realistic assessment that of what the studies actually show. He lays out some very positive info. Some of it is very exciting. A lot of good stuff..
