The first book in this box set is the tale of a 13 year old girl who mother and aunt always act strange when it come to the lake home they grew up. Especially refusing to talk about the girl cut out of the photo. After much pleading she finally get allowed to spend the summer at the lake house and baby sit her aunt's daughter. Then the girl meet a strange . Any author who writes like that for a child deserves a 5 star rating I purchased this for my 10 year old granddaughter who, and I quote: " The pages just reach out and grab me, do you know what I mean grandma"!This is the 1st author other than James Patterson who has captured & retained her attention with wanting more of her books. Any author who writes like that for a child deserves a 5 star rating and a high five from an avid reader who encourages her grandkids to read and imagine.
