I'm a great believer in learning by doing I'm a great believer in learning by doing. Unfortunately, the sample datasets used by the author are not accessible to an "average" PC user working independently. For example, The AdventureWorksDW database requires SSMS and an SQL Server database instance. Certainly not something *I* have. And the Adventure Works Analysis Services models examples require the reader to have SQL Server Management Studio available. Not sure what the audience is for this book, but must be pr. Five Stars Mario Di Giovanni Comprehensive and practical guide.. Marco Russo said Complete coverage of Power BI "Complete coverage of Power BI 2.0 features" according to Marco Russo. I'm impressed about the breadth of the topics covered by Teo Lachev in this book, I've just took a quick look at every chapter, and Teo covered all the topics at least at the point where you can start doing something (and in some chapter also more than just an intro). Considering the speed of Power BI releases and the effort required in writing a book, I know the huge effort behind this. My kudos to this book!. .0 features.
