Loose Associations, Weak Ethical Arguments David Carruth While the text is largely well written, the authors are clearly reaching far in order to make some points. For example, one section of the book provides "A Guide for Simple Meditation." The authors make the argument that because it can benefit reform when practiced by inmates, it is an ethical issue for criminal justice professionals who should in turn practice it. The text generally provides an extremely liberal view of ethics, and any person with even the slightest conservative leaning may think the book is flatly telling them they are wrong.Overall, I certainly wouldn't recommend this. Justice Great book and just what I needed for my class .It is very in depth and addresses criminal justice in a way that shows its strength and weaknesses.
