I bought this book thinking it would offer helpful advice that I could share with my students. It certainly started promisingly but soon lost it's way as far as meeting my needs as a practicing clinician. This book would probably be more suitable for a health administrator. There are far better books that should be read by students, nurses and clinicians as it applies to day to. Marysc said We Need More Books Like This!. The people who dis this book must be hardened health care providers who have forgotten (if they ever knew in the first place) what it's like to be a patient in a hospital. Before doctors and nurses are given their certification and turned loose on helpless patients, they should be required to spend a few days (incognito!) in a hospital and endure what the average patient endure
