HAL in NY said What a shame!. This is a really good book about AT&T in its heyday. Too bad AT&T disintegrated about a month after the ink was dry. The book is full of "Oh, wow! Can you believe how big this company is?" anecdotes. If you are really interested in the original AT&T from a very friendly viewpoint, this is the book to read. It is not quite a fluff piece and it is nowhere near what you would call investigative reporting.. Winner said Biggest Company on Earth. Upon receipt of this book telling of a remarkable organization I found it to be in excelent condition. I sent an Email advising that, although the correct book, it was not the version I was familiar with. Although pleased to have it, I expected a large color picture book but didn't know there were two versions and would still like to have the color version which, I recently discovered, has a different ISBN number. I did not receive a response to my Email explaining this circumstance.Thank you for your interest.
