Works requiring specialised knowledge, such as his biblical exegesis, are not included. Abbreviated but good stuff David The editor of the book has abbreviated the works contained here, but the quality of the editing seems pretty good, and you get a 'feel' for Erasmus.Would prefer to have an entire text of each letter/collection w/o editing, but am overall pleased with this edition. Far superior to the Dover Thrift Edition of "Praise of Folly'.
