This book was very easy to read This book was very easy to read, organized, and concise. As a first year pharmacy student, I found it to be tremendously helpful in refreshing my memory of basic physiology while it gave me a good understanding of drug action and basics of pharmacology.I would recommend this book to anyone who is even slightly curious of the mechanisms behind drug action. It is very reader-friendly and even the average person (with little knowledge of science) could be able to understand our body's physiology and gain insight of drug action. As a pharmacy stud. This book, however, is written as if the author is having a casual conversation with the reader. There are layman analogies, and subtle jokes are present, as well.That being said, it is a great read for those who are interested in pursuing pharmacy as a career and would like to know more about drug action.
