Immersive Illustrations The illustrations bring the subject matter to life for a young reader. I should know, I checked this and other Eyewitness books out repeatedly from the library in grade school. Eventually, I moved on to more detailed non-fiction, but these books instilled a love of learning that has thus far continued.. "Good for young people" according to Annette Hrisko-Allen. This book was meant to serve as part picture book, part mini-packet of magical trivia. It was not marketed as an actual religious text of any stripe.I think that this book can be used to open up discussion between open-minded parents and their kids. If a young person sees something in the book and asks, "wh. "this is NOT a Wicca textbook" according to A Customer. This book is NOT SUPPOSED to have, you know, spells and that kind of stuff.
