Five Stars John Bogstad love the series. Shane said Presentation is everything. Like so many, I read this series when I was a teenager back in the early 80s. These series of books along with others like the Traveler and Deadlands were examples of the pulp post apocalyptic serial fiction of the day. They were simple fast reads. Pure entertainment and nothing more. For some strange reason . "Great book blast from the past" according to Sherman. Thought this was a great book. First read the series 20+ years ago when it came out, and then again a few years later. Kind of frozen in the cold war, similar to Red Dawn. but still a good book.
