JOHN PENNINGTON said Put it in your cart!. This is a companion book I ordered for Logic and GarageBand (and MainStage which I don’t know).I wasn’t sure if I should order this book together with the GarageBand book because its titled “Logic Remote" and not "GarageBand Remote". After discovering that the latest update for this app fully supports GarageBand, I put it in my Amazon shopping cart. What a surprise to realize that the LogicRemote app is not only a remote app it actually extends the functionality of GarageBand tremendously. The author updated this book recently to include all the features and the new look of the app, and it even has a chap. Jim McNeil said If use Apple's Logic product line, get all the books GREAT. I am a Logic user, for over 15 years going back to the Emagic days Windows versions. I use it mainly as a platform for songwriting. If you are a new Logic user or and old Logic user but haven't got the time to work through the changes of Logic x and Logic remote and it's every closer integration with wireless control and garageband, Edgar's books are the place to start. There is really no such thing as an easy to use manual anymore if you do not have a good grounding in Logic's product line.ALL of his books are thoroughly written, easy to understand. I am looking forward to his next Logic offering that digs deeper into Log. Russell S. Szabados said Indispensable Resource. I thoroughly agree with fellow reviewer Jim McNeil about the usefulness of Logic as a complete music production environment and the indispensible nature of Logic Remote: How It Works as a learning resource. Author Edgar Rogermich has developed a really nice way of explaining some rather deep concepts in a way that's insightful and thus accessible to almost anyone.I highly recommend Logic Remote: How It Works. Not only will it get you up and running with the Logic Remote iPad app quickly, you'll learn a thing or two about related concepts without even knowing it. Five stars.
